THE ANSWER LIES IN BRAINWAVES.
From birth to age 7 your brainwaves cycles are ALPHA and THETA. These are relatively slow brainwave cycles; the same ones that adults experience when meditating (ALPHA) or in hypnosis (THETA). In other words children are walking around in constant states of hypnosis, which indicates high suggestibility and receptivity. They are soaking in everything around them like a sponge, making them highly affected by their experiences.
When a child is in Theta state at age two to six they believe everything that is told to them. They are also more oriented to their inner world rather than the outer world. During this period they learn about the world around them and begin to form beliefs about themselves and the world. THIS IS GREAT IF YOU HAVE FORMED POSITIVE BELIEFS BUT THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME YOU FORM BELIEFS LIKE:
I’M NOT GOOD ENOUGH
THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME
I DON’T DESERVE GOOD THINGS
I HAVE TO HIDE MY REAL SELF
At this point you would have made subconscious ‘decisions’ about how you need to behave or be in order to gain the approval of your family.
These beliefs stay with you in the form of a ‘SCRIPT (your story)’. This script will carry with you into adulthood and will affect the way you think, behave and make decisions.
So when you have a wounded inner child who is intent to protect themselves you will experience some of the following
* Drug/alcohol abuse
* Over Spending
* Over working
* Over/under Eating
* Eating disorder
* Having a victim mentality
* Constantly rebelling
* Lying excessively
* Obsessive behaviour
* Over achieving
* Being manipulate
* Being aggressive
* Being passive

YOU CAN’T KEEP BLAMING YOUR PARENTS
YOU BECOME A PARENT TO YOUR OWN INNER CHILD
The best thing you can do for yourself and your children is to ‘update your own mind’ by integrating new empowering belief systems into your subconscious and eliminate the autopilot stressful emotional reactions like fear, anxiety, not feeling good enough etc – Especially if you are a parent – You don’t want to pass these limitations on !
